mr. t and his family

rebecca and i go way back to 1999. she drove a fast car and liked to wakeboard. she married frank who is a pilot and also drove a fast car. they rode motorcycles together and cruised around the lake in a speedboat.

then tyler entered the world.

now, rebecca and frank like to sleep, make people take their shoes off when they enter the house and wash their hands.

i heard parenting changes everything; i believe it.

if i were to describe cary ann and sam, i would use words like fun, genuine, happy, spontaneous, sincere, caring. the list could go on.

let's take caring, for example. i was asked what would i do if i got hurt and couldn't make it to the wedding; what was my back-up plan. i said, well, unless i'm bleeding or in the hospital, i'll be there! no common cold would keep me away. yeah, well, on my way out of my building (which is under a bit of construction from a recent fire), i stepped on a nail. so... i was bleeding and i had to go to the hospital...

the last thing a bride wants to hear from the photographer is that they are going to be late. cary ann could have freaked out; she could have been irate; she could have been a bridezilla. but no, not cary ann. she calmly said she didn't want me to lose my toe over her wedding, so go get it taken care of and we'll see you soon.

i just have to say, i have some awesome clients :)

here's to cary ann & sam. may their love story be forever written in stone tablets of history. enjoy.
