confession: i'm addicted to the olympics. since i can remember, i will totally watch almost any sport for two weeks straight. opening & closing ceremonies? i'm there. i just love watching someone who's dedicated so much time to perfecting their skills, compete with the worlds best and win. especially team u.s.a.!
so far my favorites have been:
evan lysacek, gold in men's figure skating
lindsey vonn & julia mancuso, women's alpine skiing
shaun white, snowboarding
apolo ohno & shani davis, speedskating
and freestyle skiing and women's figure skating and ski-cross!! it's all so exciting!
